MEET YOUR GUIDE

Meghan Stetson, LPCC, RYT, MA, MEd

Hi! My name is Meghan and I have spent my entire life in service of human connection, human development, and healing. I’m a psychotherapist, teacher, and educator with almost two decades of experience in higher education, human services, and yoga education.

I began working in higher education immediately after I finished my own undergrad years, first as a college counselor for low-income, first-generation college-bound students and eventually as an Admissions & Financial Aid Officer at Harvard University. This career has also included advising high school students from all over the world.

Alongside this first career, I developed a deep commitment to the study and practice of yoga, a curiosity about the mindbody connection, and experienced the intense challenges of living with Hashimoto’s. All of these experiences inspired me to become a psychotherapist, to launch Thyroid Therapies, and now deeply inform the entirety of my work and offerings.

As a psychotherapist and counselor, I specialize in: chronic illness, chronic pain, women leaders, perfectionism, navigating the early & emerging adulthood years, disconnection from the body, anxiety, codependency, stress management, life transitions, psychedelic integration, spiritual exploration, and more. I currently practice in-person therapy in private practice in Denver, Colorado.

As a teacher and educator, I serve as Academic Director of Curriculum & Lead Instructor for MyMentor Global Academy. In this role I get to combine my higher education & counseling backgrounds to create and teach original curriculum focused on human skill development - Self-Awareness, Empathy, Resilience, and more - for high school students around the world.

Thyroid Therapies is the culmination of every personal and professional experience across my lifetime. I am extraordinarily grateful to be here.
